About Howard
  • Education: Southeastern University
  • Experience: I spent my early years in Southwest Florida. Raised around the church, it wasn’t until the late teen years that I repented and trusted Jesus to be my Savior. I attended Southeastern Bible College. I wore management and business owner hats during my 22 years in the health, safety, and environmental industry. While working in Iraq between 2008-2011, I experienced a personal hardship that brought me to my knees and off of Christian cruise control. During this time, I completely surrendered my plans for the future to the Lord’s will and direction for Him. After my time in Iraq, I founded Concerning The Times Ministries and serve as a Bible teacher, writer, and evangelist. My ministry focus is on Proclaiming Jesus to everyone and providing tangible help to the least of these. I preach the gospel in churches, Christian conferences, Bible studies, and gathering areas around the Midwest. My teaching is focused on bold end-time Christian living, evangelism, and discernment. As part of our outreach ministry, we hit the streets of Indianapolis. During the colder months, we give out Winterized tents and coats to the needy in Jesus’ name. We have many great conversations with people about salvation through Jesus and hand out tracts and free Bibles. My work has been published in various media, including The Christian Post, Rapture Ready, Levitt Letter, The Berean Call, and Olive Tree Ministries. I’ve also been a featured radio guest speaker on topics related to Christian living, end-time Bible prophecy, discernment, and evangelism. I live in Carmel, IN. (Indianapolis area) with my wife Erika and our children. I'm ordained, and our ministry is accredited through Christian Ministerial Fellowship International cmfi.org.uk I’m available to preach the gospel in Indianapolis-Midwest area churches, fellowships, and conferences. Please feel free to contact us with ministry inquiries, prayer requests, or any questions at concerningthetimes.com Every blessing in Jesus, Howard

  • A Biblical Sense Of Urgency

    Contributed on May 11, 2026

Nearly 60 million men and women will die around the world this year. As Jesus' followers, we must do everything possible to *warn people and reach them with the good news. This is a call to a biblical sense of urgency.

A privilege being here. Brief about us. Pray!* Turn to Luke 16:19-31. While turning, consider what might give us a sense of urgency. - If a police officer pulls you over and you can’t find your license.....I would have a sense of urgency. - If I were heading to Ireland from Indy and I ...read more

  • The Absolute Necessity Of Repentance

    Contributed on Dec 8, 2025

Repentance is necessary for salvation. Without it, no one will spend eternity in heaven, no matter what we think.

Have you ever been truly lost? Most people, especially men, are funny; we rarely admit we are lost. It would be easier to get a root canal! It doesn’t matter what we think. If I want to go to Florida, I take I-75 S. If I want to go to Florida but take I-75 N., I’m not going to Florida, but to ...read more

  • How Would We Live Differently If We Knew It Was Tomorrow?

    Contributed on Oct 21, 2024

How would we live differently if we knew Jesus was coming back tomorrow? It would radically alter our priorities and what matters.

Illustration: Imagine knowing about October 7th, the Indian Ocean Tsunami, 9-11, Pearl Harbor, or the Titanic on the day before they happened! Consider the importance of knowing what was coming and the chance to heed the warning. Knowing about these events the day before would have changed the way ...read more

  • Don't Diminish Jesus' Name

Everything Christians do and say will either elevate or diminish Jesus' name to a watching world.

The Bible tells us a time is coming when every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, Philippians 2:10-11. Christians openly honor His name now, while unbelievers must confess He’s Lord on a day yet to come. Much of what people believe about Jesus comes from what they ...read more
