• One of my favorite illustrations: A preacher went to preach at a confrence and only one man showed up. The man was a farmer. The preacher ask the farmer if he should preach being that only one man showed up. The farmer replied; If I went to feed my animals and only one showed up I would certainly feed him. So the preacher preached for almost an hour and with all of his might and asked the farmer when he finished , how was it? The farmer replied we’ll if went to feed my animals and I were expecting a hundred animals and only one showed up, I certainly would not feed him all of the food!

• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She thinks that I’m the greatest preacher of all times.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Continue to learn and always be yourself.

• Something funny that happened while preaching: As I was preaching one morning, a small child completed my sentance for me as if he were preaching hinself.
