• Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A masters of theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.
• Experience: 16 years as the founding and senior pastor of Triangle Community Church. I served on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ at Duke University for seven years, the last four of which I serves as the Campus Director.

• Something funny that happened while preaching: I was using Powerpoint from my laptop which wasn’t plugged in. The battery began to run low which generated this warning for all to see, "Preparing to hybernate..." Someone in the audience yelled out, "Me too!" I think they were kidding!:)
• What I want on my tombstone: "I have fought the good fight; I have finished my race!
