About David
  • Education: I am right now in 7th grade. I am made fun of for my belief as a christian but i don’t care. And I am an honor student.
  • Experience: My dad has preached many times and i have learned from him. I have preached about 5 times in churches, and me and my sisters are in a pantomime ministry where we do songs in sign language and preach to the deaf.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Criticize me if you want if you think I’m too young to preach. But God has called me just like millions of kids in America. I don’t write hour sermons for I am young. But when I’m older, i’ll be just like my daddy. A one hour sermon!
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: My newsletter series " REVELATION UNVEILED" has started quite a commotion over here in Orlando. My mom forwared my newsletter to many of her co-workers and they e-mailed telling me of it’s impact.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: One of my favorite illustrations where my dad’s when he talked about a mean dog named Lobo that always attacked him and one day he had the courage to stand up to him. i loved it!
  • Family: I am a 12 year old preacher, I have started an online newsletter about the book of Revelations, I have preached in churches as a guest and my mom is a precher too. My Dad is a former pastor and is now a minister in church, jail, and the army. He is a chaplain and is the well known Rev. Gabriel Rios. My sister is 14 and she plays the piano for God. My little 7 year old sister now has started preaching in her school.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They are proud that I follow their footsteps and that I have been called by God and are shocked at how impacting my sermons were to them.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: I am not married, for i am only 12. But some day i will... i hope.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: My dad told me to always include illustrations so that my audience can follow along and be into "it."
  • Books that have had an impact: I started being fascinated in the book of Revelations when I read all 9 Left Behind series books, and I have decided to follow the footsteps of my father and study at Asbury about theology and prophecy and the Bible.
  • Hobbies: I enjoy collecting cards.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Be ready, Jesus is coming...
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I was one time preachin and then my microphone fell and I made a joke out of it.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Rest in Peace, for God has wiped this man’s tear from his eye, and he shall hunger no more.
