About Damon
  • Education: Bachelor’s of Art in Religious Studies. Currently furthering education through distance ed. at South African Theological Seminary.
  • Experience: Mainly with street evangelism, have recently begun a preaching career as well!
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Anything that’s wrong with them is mine. Anything right or good comes from Christ. Ignore what I say, but listen to him.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Everything by Paul Washer, John Piper or John Macarthur. Ray Comfort as well..
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Ray Comforts analogy comparing Jesus Christ to a parachute. You can believe in a parachute all you want, but it does you no good until you put it on.
  • Family: Southern Baptist
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Father is an atheist. He thinks they are silly. My mom thinks I am little bit to "Fire and Brimstone" for her taste. But she says Iam very "passionate".
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: My wife says my sermons captivate her. Why, I don’t know. :)
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Don’t throw up on the pulpit. Turn your head.
  • Books that have had an impact: Out of the Comfort Zone by Ray Comfort
  • Hobbies: Studying, archery on occasion.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Be Back Soon...

Where Have all The Good Men Gone? Genesis 14 Ya know, Men have gotten a pretty Bad rap here in the United States.
