About Curtis
  • Education: I attended high school in Hopkins Minnesota, attended the Golden Valley Lutheran College (LBI), St. Cloud State University, graduated from the independent Lutheran seminary, and took further studies at the Association of Free Lutheran theological seminary. My wife received her bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University in music.
  • Experience: I was called into the ministry in 1970. I began to serve churches while attending seminary and have been in ministry since 1971. I serve churches in Minnesota, North Dakota, California, Wisconsin and Ohio. I have been the director at Bible camps, special speaker at evangelistic services, conducted tent revival meetings, national director of the AFLC youth ministries and conducted various conference and Bible study programs.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Early in the Ministry, God gave me the desire to study and present a series of Bible studies on the book of Romans. The study taught me the freedoms that we have in Christ Jesus and all that he has given to us comes to us by his grace and mercy. It became a revelation to my mind and heart.
  • Family: I was born in the Minneapolis area, attended a Lutheran seminary and graduated and was ordained in 1973. I have served churches in Minnesota, North Dakota, California, Wisconsin and Ohio. I presently serve a church in Mn since 2014. I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and receive Jesus Christ as my Lord when I was 14 years old. My wife and I have been married since 1968 and have three grown children and eight grandchildren. My wife is a recording artist and a music minister.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: God has never asked you to produce results, he has only asked you to be faithful; the results are up to Him.
  • What I want on my tombstone: He was faithful to Jesus
