About Chris
  • Education: Midwestern Baptist College Tennessee Temple University...BS in Biblical Studies Caring for People God’s Way...Certificate
  • Experience: I have been a youth pastor for the past four years, to include the last year of my life as a pastor. I have participated in many youth camps, conferences, and crusades. Currently, I am in the process of starting the Word of GOd Revival Ministries!
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Thank you for taking the time to view these sermons. Crude as they may be, I believe that they are from God, and I want to give Him all the honor and glory for calling me to such a wonderful field of service. May God bless you!
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: The greatest sermon I have ever heard was by Jack Hyles. He preached on "duty". It was there that I went forward, and I surrendered my life to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: About a circus that was coming to town. The boy got all excited, he ran to town and here it came! All the lions, tigers, elephants and clowns. This was the most exciting thing he had ever seen. When it was over, he left and went home. What he did not realize is that he just witnessed the parade, the circus had not come yet. Application: Great things are happening all over for God, but don’t leave just yet, the circus is still to come!
  • Family: My wife Sherri, and our son to be adopted son from Russia!!!!
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Be honest with your congregation, and always tell them the truth through God’s word. If you do nothing else...preach the Word!
  • Books that have had an impact: The Prayer of Jabez...little book, great message God Chasers Of Course the greatest impact of my life has come through the Bible!
  • Hobbies: I love to read and to play basketball, and to run!
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Do not ever give up or lose sight of God. He loves you, and He cares for you. All that you have gone through has been done to simply bring you closer to Christ. Do you know Him as Savior? If not, make that decision today!
  • What I want on my tombstone: Faithful to the End
