About Bishop, W. F.
  • Education: Bishop, Dr. W. F. Houston, Jr. (D.D.) Educational Background and Credentials • Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries: Awarded by Christian Baptist University (CBU), this degree represents a comprehensive understanding of Christian doctrines and the practice of ministry. • Master of Divinity: Conferred by Regent University, this advanced degree emphasizes theological education, pastoral care, and scriptural expertise. • State of Ohio Marriage Officiant License: Officially recognized by the State of Ohio, this license authorizes the performance of marriage ceremonies. • Pastoral and Episcopal Ordinations: Holding both Pastor and Bishop Ordination Licenses, these affirm the ecclesiastical authority and responsibilities in ministry leadership. • Homiletics Certificate: This Certificate of Completion in Homiletics underlines a specialized proficiency in the art of preaching and sermon delivery. • Pastoral Counseling Certificate: Demonstrates trained competence in providing spiritual and pastoral counseling. • Doctor of Divinity: This honorary degree acknowledges distinguished contributions and commitment to theological scholarship and ministerial service. These credentials collectively showcase a deep commitment to religious education, pastoral leadership, and theological scholarship, forming the foundation for a life dedicated to ministry and service.
  • Experience: In my ministerial journey, I have been blessed to learn from several esteemed spiritual mentors, gathering a vast collection of spiritual insights akin to a "treasure chest." This foundation in ministry was laid through World Christianship Ministries, where I received my Pastor and Bishop Ordination Licenses, a Certificate in Homiletics, a Pastoral Counselor Certificate, and a Doctor of Divinity. These qualifications were pivotal in establishing the Christian House of Faith (C H O F), now known globally as C H O F Ministry, where we strive to "Ignite Faith, Elevate Wisdom, and Transform Lives," as our slogan proudly declares. While some may view my online-acquired clerical credentials with skepticism, I stand firm in my conviction. It is important to acknowledge that many pastors and leaders, including those without formal education, significantly advance the Gospel's message. I am confident in my credentials, officially recognized by the State of Ohio, and I believe that divine approval extends beyond human accreditation, aligning with our motto, "Faith: More Than Belief, a Lens to Reimagine." In pursuit of continuous growth and in alignment with my style of preaching—which is expository, philosophical, literary, culturally relevant, introspective, and inspirational—I have furthered my academic and theological education. I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries from Christian Baptist University and a Master of Divinity from Regent University. Additionally, I am licensed by the State of Ohio to officiate marriages. My educational path and commitment to spiritual development are testaments to my dedication to serving God's calling with passion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to our core values of faith and wisdom.

Beloved, have you ever looked in the mirror and the reflection told you what you didn’t want to see? You know, you might be feeling one way but when you look at yourself in the mirror the reflection reproduces something totally different.

You know, in the last 2 to 3 years, I noticed two pretty important ways the world has changed. Now frankly, I don’t know whether it’s because of global warming or the lack of gun control or the Obama administration. All I know is that these two issues, at least to me, are far more important ...read more

How many of you have felt like you want to throw up both hands and just quit. You have nothing left in the tank. I know I have.

In cars, the gas tank sensor will detect how much fuel is left. When you're driving with the indicator on empty, you say, "I'm running on empty." You know, this also applied to people. If you are exhausted and feel like you can't go on much longer, you can say, "I'm ...read more

You cannot lose your salvation, but can you walk away from it? Beloved, when it come to the words: “DO NOT” many of us have a problem with those words. Do not touch do not go do not pass do not take do not give do not gossip. Many have no respect or fear and I mean are ...read more
