• Experience: I have been preaching and teaching in some capacity since I was 15. I have served in many denominations but pastored a non-denominational church for several years. I am currently about to start my member in discernment process with the UCC

• Family: I am an openly gay christian. I am engaged to a wonderful man who supports me in everything I do. I have a 15 year old son from a previous marriage. I am 38. I am getting ready to start my M.Div in UCC studies at United seminary of the twin cities. I will be starting my member in discernment process in Late summer. The MID is the first step in the official ordination in the UCC. I have pastored a non-denominational church and preached with the churches of christ.
• What my parents think of my sermons: Mom loves them.
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: He has not really gotten a chance to hear me preach. He has only heard my bible class lessons.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Be yourself, love God, love humanity.

• Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, family time, studying the Bible, studying world religions, reading, writing, painting and coloring.
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus loves and accepts you, accept him today.
• Something funny that happened while preaching: I got anointing oil in my eyes.
• What I want on my tombstone: Loving father, Faithful partner, and faithful christian.
