  • One of my favorite illustrations: The boulder story: One day a man had a heart for God and said "Lord, I will do ANYTHING you ask me to do.." God replied. "ok Put this boulder in this wheel barrel and push it to the top of the mountain." Man replied" Thats it? thats so easy! and he begins to push the boulder to the top of the mountain with a song on his lips and joy in his heart.... so happy to be doing something for God... and along the way he sees a fatherless boy struggling to push his rock up the mountain, so the man offers to put the rock in his wheel barrel and push it at the same time... then he sees the little widow lady with her bolder and he offers to push hers also, a little further he sees the begger with his bolder... and as he nears the top of the mountain he cries out to God "LORD this is so hard! I don’t think I can make it to the top of the mountain... its just too heavy! But all these people NEED me!" And God replies: "son, those were not your boulders to carry, I had somebody coming to help the fatherless, and the widow, and I was trying to teach the begger to look to me for help. They didn’t need you, They need ME.." You put this burden on youself, but my burden is light and my yolk is easy.
  • Family: I am wife, and stay at home mother of 3 boys.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: That i’m going to hell.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: That I preach too much at home LOL.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: relax, the people want you to succeed.
  • Books that have had an impact: Armor Bearer series Praying with authority by Dutch Sheets They shall expell Demons by Deric Prince Deliver us from Evil by Don Basham Pigs in the Parlor How saved are we by Micheal Brown Drawing Near by John Beveere
  • Hobbies: READING,teaching.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: REPENT. Be converted and become as little children for such is the Kingdom of Heaven. Children experience everything on a deeper level than adults. Toddlers want to put everything in there mouth, touch everything and experience the world with all their sense... We need to be like a little child with God. We need to want ALL of him, we need to want to experience him with EVERYTHING in us! Be able to love as a child, and forgive as a child for such is the kingdom of Heaven.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I got nervous the first time and started talking really fast and went through my entire sermon in about 10 minutes!
  • What I want on my tombstone: Todays mighty oak is yesterdays nut that held its ground!
