Life isn’t easy. We all have moments of struggle, hopelessness, and despair. The day to day can begin to take its toll and before we know it…We’re consumed. Overwhelmed by stress. Surrounded by fear. Unable to see the light through the darkness. It’s no wonder we lose our joy, and forget what peace actually feels like. But there is a way for hope to break through our walls. A way for our faith to be renewed. A way for comfort to surround us. We can once again feel the light shine brightly on our face. We can experience the warmth of God’s love and watch the darkness be overcome. For it’s in the light of Jesus…We find peace.

The Hope Of Easter Remains

Living with uncertainty can take its toll. The normal day to day is replaced with fear, worry, doubt. When our “normal” is disrupted, our surroundings begin to feel weak, foundations begin to rattle our lives become…disoriented. Even in our darkest moments, when the last thread of hope has unraveled from our being, we must dwell on truth. We must remember, no matter what is happening around us, God is still sovereign. He is not surprised by this moment. Today let us dwell on the truth of Easter. The stone has been rolled away. The grave has been rendered powerless. Death has transformed to life. Night has been overcome by Day. In our fear, He is still risen. In our worry, He is still victorious. In our doubt, He is still alive. When everything seems hopeless…The hope of Easter remains.

It’s hard to imagine where I’d be without you Dad. The truth is, I’ve learned so much by simply watching you. I’ve learned what it means to care about people and put others before myself. I’ve learned how to live a life of integrity and have the heart of a servant. I’ve learned to honor God in all I do and seek His will for my life. As I look back I can see moment after moment where your strength, your wisdom, and your love made all the difference. The New Year is often a time of reflection. A chance to look back on the past 365 days and remember. Sometimes the memories bring a smile and other times they break our hearts. Chances are, you’ve experienced a bit of both this past year. The New Year is also a time to look ahead. To imagine what could be. To scan the horizon with expectation and seek God’s guiding hand. It’s a time to strive for better. To live louder, love stronger and be more of who God has created us to be. It’s an opportunity for new beginnings. A chance to start fresh, pursue God with a renewed passion, and to press on with all our hearts. The truth is, God has been faithful this past year and that faithfulness promises to carry us through the next. As a new year begins may we remember this one simple truth; In Christ we are a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come.

This has been a long year. A year of uncertainty, struggle’ pain. We’ve watched a virus take countless lives. People we knew. People we loved. Jobs have been lost, businesses have shut down and Churches have been forced to close their doors. We’ve witnessed division and violence. And we’ve felt the sting of racism…the deep heartache of hate. There have been times where it’s been difficult to see the hand of God. But even in the darkest of moments, He has been there. Faithful, present, and powerful. As a new year begins, we stand on a simple truth…Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings as eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. We don’t know what this new year will hold, but we know it is held by a God whose mercies are new every morning. This is where we place our trust. This is the truth on which we stand. This is our hope…for the New Year.

More Than Enough For Tomorrow

In the midst of uncertainty; our faith can struggle, our walk becomes labored, and our heart heavy. There’s something about the unknown which seems to weaken us. It drains our patience and blurs our focus. Yet, in the middle of everything stands a faithful God. A God who is not swayed by the struggle and isn’t moved by the winds of chaos. A God who remains faithful even when our faith is fragile. It seems more difficult than ever to not worry about tomorrow, yet that’s exactly what God has asked us to do. For when we cast our burdens on Him, the troubles of the moment begin to fade. When we trust the plans He has for us, our fear begins to subside. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, our focus becomes consumed by clarity. Yes, we are in the midst of uncertainty, but we can be certain of one thing…God is faithful, and that is more than enough for tomorrow.

For many in your church, the past few years may have been filled with anxiety and fear. This artful and unique creative video expression will help your church understand that even when it doesn’t feel like God is close, He is. We all need the reminder that, no matter what season you're in, God is with you and for you.

This mini movie could be used as a visual kick-off to a series or time of worship. It could also be used as an illustration for your sermon.

The hope and prayer from the producer of this video is that the visuals would connect with those going through dark seasons, but, by the end of the piece, people would be reminded that God is with you, and there is light in the darkness.
