About Gary
  • Experience: Senior Pastor/Elder: Pastor Gary has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He served in the USAF from 1968-1972 and then worked as an electronics engineer at Harris Corporation for almost ten years. Shortly after being saved in 1968, he felt a call on his life to teach God’s Word. He came on staff at COTR in March of 1992 as an associate pastor. He was ordained as the senior pastor in April of 2000. Pastor Gary provides supervisory leadership and direction for the church. He works closely with the COTR elders in understanding God’s heart for the church. He has a strong passion to understand and teach the Word of God in a way that will help people grow in maturity and in their passion for the Lord. Pastor Gary and his wife Bonnie, married since 1970, have two grown children, a lovely daughter-in-law, and three lively grandchildren.
