ZEAL TO BE REAL”

Revelation 3:14-17

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodicean’s write; these things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot. I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth because thou sayest I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

In this chapter we have believers who have become like some of us today. The believers at this time didn’t stand firm, they became hardened in heart, they didn’t stand for anything; indifference had led them to idleness. They had become dissatisfied, and they were half-hearted, in name only Christian who would settle for anything. But we need zeal to be real so we won’t fall into the same category as these believers.

How many lukewarm Christians in this world today, how many in this church, and are you lukewarm in your devotion to God? Do you zeal to be real? Are you so deep in your own self that you don’t see your idleness? How many today think they are so holy, so perfect, and have everything together in this walk. They say they are rich in the word and have increased in spiritual things, and they have no need of the Holy Ghost. These people are wretched, miserable, and pretenders. They worship God in word, and name only. Their hearts are far from him.

Just as a marriage or relationships need to be rekindle. Our love and desire can be rekindled for God. We need zeal to be real because some of us are living in a danger zone. We come to church with everything else on our minds and we do not worship God, we do not praise him we just sit idle, letting the words go over our heads. We don’t have real meaning of the purpose of fellowshipping together. We just think we can come and not participate and expect God to render us some type of solute. It’s no time to play, or be lazy.

It is time to serious with God because God is not playing. He is sending judgment and it is beginning with the people of God. Are you ready for judgment? There is work to do it is time for us to be about kingdom business. Get ourselves rights with God by getting align with the word. So we can be true witnesses of good report. We can be the people of God and not a Laodicean people, but a people that is called by his name. A royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people that doesn’t mind worshipping, doesn’t mind praising. I dare not to praise God.

God has brought me through many dangerous situations, he has kept me. What has he done for you that you are willing to get zeal in you to be real in your worship, to be real in your praise, to be real in your shout, to be real in your preaching, to be real in your love for others? Get zeal to be real now while you still have time, tonight, tomorrow is not promise to none of us but while the blood is still running in your veins do it now. Give God a true praise, a true shout. GET ZEAL TO BE REAL!
