Youth Sermon: You’re Not Alone

Jesus is always with you

Do you remember the story of Joshua? Dude was chosen to lead a whole nation into a new land. No pressure, right? But God was like, 'Hey, I've got your back. I was with Moses, and I'll be with you. So be brave, don't freak out.' God was telling Joshua he wasn't alone.

Now, let's fast forward to the New Testament. Jesus, talking to his crew, gives them a mission to spread the good news. And he says, 'I am with you always, until the very end of the age.' He knew they'd be scared, so he reassured them he'd be there.

God was telling Joshua he wasn't alone.

Jesus was always real with his friends

In the book of John, he straight up tells them they're going to have a tough time. But he also says, 'Take heart! I have overcome the world.' He wanted them to know that even though life gets hard, he's already won the battle.

So, what's this mean for us? It means that no matter what's going on, we can chill knowing Jesus is with us. We can trust that he's not going anywhere. And with Jesus, we can handle any fear or challenge that comes our way.

Jesus is our safety harness in life

Imagine you're walking a tightrope. It's scary, right? But what if you had a safety harness? That's Jesus. He's our safety harness in life. He's always there, keeping us safe, even when we're walking a scary tightrope.

So, when we add Jesus to our practical tools, we can face our fears with confidence. Remember, Jesus is always with us, and he gives us strength. So let's keep recognizing our fears, focusing on today, and trusting that Jesus is with us every step of the way.
