Your Salvation Angers The Devil

Acts 5:17-25 King James Version (KJV)

17 Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,

18 And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.

19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

21 And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

22 But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned and told,

23 Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

25 Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

Beloved, the devil's sudden or well planned attack on your progress or success or victory is not just by chance or anything. No.

The devil knows his place in this world, your life and eternity. He knows his end very well. His end has been confirmed and sealed by the coming of Jesus into this world, to die on the cross, shed His blood on Calvary and defeat the devil by making a public spectacle of him and his cohorts.

Also Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins, past, present and future. Such that the devil has no legal or legitimate accusation against us at any time "t". Therefore all accusations he makes are in vain.

Beloved, our salvation provokes him, it angers him and messes up with his whole set up and being, especially he, knowing the real truth and goodness of our salvation for us. To the extent that we don't even know.

The devil's mindset is to go to his eternal destruction with man, who God loves dearly so you trying to win all souls to Jesus, for every soul to have this salvation that annoys him is a great and mighty thorn in his flesh.

Your success, victory, progress and enjoyment is a nuisance to him. He wants to see you sad, wallowing in sorrow and self pity always, his agenda is that, even if he can't get you to go to hell with him eternally, he has to put you in hell here on earth.

This he knows will frustrate you and may even cause you to question God and be angry at God Almighty.

The devil's target is not you the one soul suffering, but the many who would see you and not want to serve God if this is what you get for serving Him and all those you will discourage. So he can get many souls to suffer with him eternally in hell.

But beloved I want to encourage you this morning, no matter the attack on your life or the bondage the devil has put you in, Jesus shall deliver you.

An angel is coming your way to deliver you from the shackles of the enemy. The Lord will deliver you and leave their set up as though you are still there.

Before they realise your freedom and victory, you would have preached and won many souls to Jesus by this victory and success.

Beloved, the devil will come looking for you again but this time he will be afraid of you even though he will not show it. So stand your grounds in Jesus name. Speak the Word and apply the Blood to every situation and your victory and success in Jesus will continue and have no end.

Know that:

1 *THE DEVIL FEARS A MAN WHO KNOWS THE WORD OF GOD, CARRIES HIM IN HIS SPIRIT AND SPEAKS HIM ALWAYS.*

2. *THE DEVIL FEARS THE MAN WHO KNOWS THE POTENCY, EFFICACY, AUTHORITY AND POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS AND APPLIES IT ALWAYS*

3. *THE DEVIL FEARS THE MAN WHO COMMITS ALL THINGS CONCERNING HIM AND CONNECTED TO HIM IN ANY WAY INTO THE HANDS OF GOD ALMIGHTY ALWAYS*.

4. *THE DEVIL FEARS THE MAN WHO PROPHESIES SUCCESS, VICTORY AND PROGRESS INTO HIS OWN LIFE AND ALL PEOPLE AND THINGS AROUND HIM EVERYDAY*
