Your Identity In Christ

1. God’s Chosen People:-

Ephesians 1:4 – For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight in love.

I peter 2:9 – But you are a chosen people , a royal priesthood , a holy nation , a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

God choose: David ( 1 samuel 16:1 ) ( Eliab , Abinadad, Shammah, verse 6- 13) David 8th son of Jesse

- Jeremiah 1:5- Before I formed you in the womb I knew you ,before you were born I set you apart.

- John 15;16 – You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last. Then father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

- Matthew-5:13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness,how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything,except to be thrown out and trampled by men."

- Matthew- 5:14 - "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden."

- 2 corinthians 6: 1- God’s fellow-workers

- John 15:15 I am Jesus’ friend.

- 1 Thes. 5:5 I am son of light and not of darkness.

Ephesians 2:10 – For we are God’s Workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do Good works, which God Prepared in advance for us to do.

Genesis 1:27- So God created man in his own Image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

3. Kings and Princes :-

Revelation 1:5b -6 :- To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kings and priests to serve his God and Father – to him be glory and power for ever and ever ! Amen.

I Peter 1; 18,19 – For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefather.

But with the precious blood of Christ, a Lamp without blemish or defect.

Matthew 20:28 – Son of Man did not come to be served , but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.

I cor 6:20 – You were bought at a Price , therefore honor God with your body./ John 3:16

You are not forgotten and You are in this world by God's choice for His Great Work.
