As Christians, we are deeply loved by God and have nothing to fear or prove. We can find security in knowing that God is always with us and His love sets us free from seeking approval from others. In response to God's love, we purify ourselves by saying no to ungodliness and living uprightly by loving others as Jesus loves us.
Hey guys! Today, we're gonna learn from John, one of Jesus' best buds. John tells us that we're God's kids, loved big time. That means we don't have to be scared or try to impress anyone. God's love is epic, and it gives us a fresh start if we accept it.
God's love is epic, and it gives us a fresh start if we accept it.
1. You're God's kid! God loves you so much, He calls you His kid. That's mind-blowing! You don't have to worry about what others think because God's love is what counts. You don't have to be scared because God's always got your back. You're His kid, and that's something to party about!
2. Living right is how we show love to God As God's kids, we show Him love by living right. This means saying no to stuff that's not cool and focusing on living good lives. We do this because we love God and want to make Him proud. It's a step-by-step thing, and each small change brings us closer to God.
3. Jesus wipes away our wrongs Jesus came to wipe away our wrongs. He saves us from the power of doing wrong and helps us beat it. We may still mess up, but it doesn't mean we're not real Christians. It's a reminder to keep looking to Jesus and letting Him change us. He'll help us beat our wrongs and live free.
4. Freedom from doing wrong God takes wrongs seriously because He knows they mess us up and our relationships. Being saved isn't just about going to heaven; it's about being saved from the power of doing wrong in our lives. God's grace teaches us to say no to bad stuff and live controlled, good lives. We can beat our impulses and temptations with God's help.
5. Do the right thing: Love others Loving others like Jesus loves us is always the right thing to do. It shows that we're real kids of God. We should even love our enemies and pray for those who are mean to us. This is how we show God's love to others. By loving well, we show that we're followers of Jesus.
You don't have to be scared or try to impress anyone because you're loved big time by God. Jesus wipes away your wrongs and sets you free from their power. Loving others well is always the right way to live. Let's remember these truths and live in the freedom and love that God gives us.
This week, try to show love to someone who's hard to love. Remember, you're God's kid and He's got your back. You don't have to be scared or try to impress anyone. Just love like Jesus.
