You Have No Security But In Christ

You have no security

None in this world , nothing you can say it is without end

Our jobs , our positions in life, money & even governments

They all burn with a flicker and pass away, but where do you stand?

They usually come unsuspectedly, never at a good time and steal our joy if we hope in those things.

Our security in things of this earth is all in uncertainty,

Well what about security in heaven?

I tell you many have a false security, and unfortunately will not inherit Gods kingdom?

How can some one have a false security in heaven you ask? What do I mean?

Well, if I where to tell you can believe in Jesus and do good things and still

Be judged and condemned? That's crazy you say?

What if I told you I didn't say that but Jesus did?

Mat ?..?

Why you ask?

It was what they held there security in.

What is it you ask? It was In them selfs.

The bible says most men will proclaim there own goodness, but a faithful man who can find.

If you thought ,if there is a heaven you'd be there because your a pretty good person

It's time you took the good test

Give the test.( go thru a couple of the ten commandments)example: have you like me ever ......lied, stolen(even a cookie when mom said no), murder( he who hates his brother is a murder), adultery( looked with lust), blasphemy(used Gods name to swear or express disgust).

Wow, I am totally guilty thru and thru ,

And if your honest , you are also.

What can you do about it ?

Honestly nothing, what do I mean nothing you say,

I mean nothing, we are in trouble the penalty is death

Not just death here on earth but a second death in Hell

That's not fun to share but the truth hurts

So what now? Here's where I tell you the best part

God became a man and took the penalty of death on you behalf

He lived a sinless life to sacrifice himself for sinners, not good people

His blood was shed to pay that price and we now have the ability for our debt to be paid .

Jesus rose himself to life proving that he is God and has the power over life and death. And he offers to resurrect us in glorified bodies to be grafted in the family tree of righteousness of Jesus Christ and become children of God and all those in him will produce good fruit for there fellow man so that they may know the goodness of the lord and his salvation

So how do we grab hold of this?

I said believing in the fact jesus died for us and is the only begotten son of God is not enough to save you , it isn't,

intellectual belief will not save you. Well what then

Jesus said unless your born again you can not see the kingdom of God

See Adam brought death when he turn from God and ate the fruit of knowledge of good and evil

And we have been born spiritually dead, and then we will physically die,then you'll be resurrected judged and die physically and spiritually in eternal separation from God and all his goodness and all the good thing's he created for us to enjoy

But a person who was born physically alive you and I , is also born spiritually dead we can be born again in spirit, die physically and be resurrected body and spirit perfected in Jesus Christ to be with him in his kingdom , that is true security that only Jesus can provide

Acts 17:25-34

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. 29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. 30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by[ that] man whom he hath ordained;[ whereof] he hath given assurance unto all[ men], in that he hath raised him from the dead. 32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this[ matter]. 33 So Paul departed from among them. 34 Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which[ was] Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
