YOU BELONG TO ME

by

Dr. Gale A. Ragan-Reid (November 9, 2015)

“Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God” Hosea 1:10, KJV [Idolatry warned of judgment].

Greetings In The Name Of Jesus,

My sisters and brothers, the creation, “In the beginning God created...(Genesis 1:1, KJV)”however, fundamentally purposeful [“According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him” Ephesians 3: 11-12 KJV; The great love of Christ], to reflection of the world condition, also spoke to abandonment, delusions, grave discontent, lost, and sorrow of body, spirit, and soul, “For God so loved the world...(John 3:16, KJV)”, if, so true, then why the sufferings of man, catapult the conscious of man both weak and strong to a place that denies forgiveness. My thoughts grounded in my heart, at present reflected on the words of my kin, who was raised up from a child to a man by his father and grandparents, both, now gone on to live with Jesus, as the folks of good faith say. Colloquially speaking, my kin did not realize that sometimes you must forgive those who died---those who left you behind---those who walked through the light---those who died but stayed behind in a place you hardly think of, a place you could not access or visit them at, a place you could not speak to them at, a place for souls in-waiting [“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence” Colossians 1:18, KJV], so what does this all mean to you; it means that the anger you felt from the abandonment, delusions, grave discontent, lost, and sorrow was best processed in grace, in the faith of Christ Jesus [“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them”, Ephesians 2:8-10, KJV; By grace are ye saved], not in Satan's kill, steal, and destroy because processing your anger in Satan's steal, kill and destroy will do just that---steal, kill and destroy you [“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” St. John 10:10, KJV; Christ is the door], placing you out of your own hands to care for yourself and your loved ones putting you in the hands of the laws of the land---but, hold on and thank God for his mercy---thank God for Christ Jesus because God sent him to be your counselor [“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” Isaiah 9:6, KJV; Christ's birth and kingdom] to help you wrestle with the forces of darkness and the principalities that hold you, bound under the laws of the land [“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 6:12, KJV; spiritual wickedness]. Most importantly, God is a good God, so greatly to be praised. More importantly, Jesus saves.

Moreover, “You belong to me,” are words that mean something---those words should mean something to you--- that in a place of darkness where you find yourself when you got lost on your journey and you could not shake the dust off your shoes before the principality where you were at came and bound you under the laws of the land, thank God Jesus washed your feet---in a distant time to cleanse you, before your birth, before your time of abandonment, delusions, grave discontent, lost, and sorrow to prepare you, to save you and he did not let Peter claim cleanness for the night of the day---

the darkness of the day captured Peter as it captured you with dusty feet in need of cleaning, before the cock crowed; for somewhere the cock crowed after you were bound---our troubles, yours and mine, came to roost, as the troubles of Jesus did, as the delusions of Peter did. Sometimes you must not only
