Summary: A message about the calling we may have not answered on our lives. Sharing the Word as we have been called to do by the One who loves us and wants us to show His love in the hard times we live in.

You are the living word

Good Morning

Stand with me and lift your bible and repeat after me.

This is my Bible.

I am what it says I am.

I can do what it says I can do.

I am going to learn how to be what it says I can be.

Today I will learn more of the word of God.

The indestructible, never ending, living word Of God.

I will never be the same.

I will never be the same.

In Jesus Name

Amen?

Before you sit down, say good morning to your brothers and sisters.

You are the living word.

We are not talking about the Lord being the only living word.

I am speaking to you today about becoming the living Word of God in the world we live in.

How do I do that you are probably thinking.

Turn with me to Habakkuk 2:4 in latter part of the Old Testament.

Please say, “Amen” when you are there.

The last part of the verse is what I want to concentrate on;

“But the righteous one will live by his faith.”

How do we do that?

We spend time in prayer and ask Him for the ways to show that we are living with God first in our lives.

Listen to this story:

The purpose of a teapot.

Does a purpose serve a purpose until it has something to pour out?

So, are we meant to be full-ready to pour out what we have been filled with. This is the what the Body of Christ is-meant to become full of Christ so that we might be poured out on those who are in need to know about Him.

There are two teapots. One is a beautiful China teapot, very colorful and artistically made. When you open it and pour, a green watery sludge comes out.

The other is an old, plain wooden teapot. When you pour, out comes a very aromatic enticing tea.

What kind of tea pot are you and I?

Are we dedicated to our image or to our commitment to Jesus Christ who lives within us if we know Him?

We need to reach out to the One who dedicated His life here on earth to serve Him by just simply putting Him first in our day to day living.

Here is the hard part.

Many of us do not think we qualify to do that.

Some of us think that we just are not good enough to take the step to do so.

The disciples did.

Each of the disciples that were chosen by Jesus probably thought that at times.

Can you imagine this man walks into where you are working and says, “Come, follow me.”

Would you go?

With all that is going on in our world today, you and I would definitely have security called or the police. It would seem crazy.

The disciples that were called had a much simpler life and they could each take the step that was given to them.

Plus, they could sense something different about this man that called them.

What was it that they saw or felt?

Jesus did not and does not call just a random person.

He does us even if we do not know Him.

He knows us if we know Him.

His Father knew us before we were born.

They both know the plan that we are called to follow.

If you read in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John how each of the disciples were called you, could can see where they came from.

They just had a feeling.

We may have had feelings about things that God wants us to do but we think that we are not worthy.

We may have a past that may embarrass us.

God has had a plan for you and I that He started on when He created this world, that we live in.

He cannot force us to do it, but He will keep dropping hints and still give us the opportunity.

Now.

What is the plan?

What is the plan that He has for you and I?

I do not have the blueprint for what each of us is called to do.

Neither do you.

But.

He does.

I know you have heard this before, but the times we are in I am suggesting that it may be time to take the step and.......

Start living for the plan that He has called us to.

You are part of the living Word of the God who loves you just as you are and is waiting for you to take a step forward.

And be more living.

Amen?

Let us go to Him now in prayer.
