JESUS CHRIST.

For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances—
1 Thessalonians 2:19 (Amplified Bible)
For what is our hope or happiness or our victor’s wreath of exultant triumph when we stand in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Is it not you?

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for I submit myself to you, emptying all myself in exchange of you and no more self-consciousness but only GOD consciousness and Grace consciousness will fill me up.
VI. TITLE:
Worst than the first
VII. EXPLICATION:
A. Author: Dr. Luke, The Beloved Physician (close friend and traveling companion of Paul)
B. Audience: Theophilus (Greek means friend of GOD, a Christian)
C. Purpose: To give a connected and orderly narrative of the life of CHRIST as seen by eyewitnesses
VIII. MAIN BODY:
Luke 11:26 (Amplified Bible)
And it goes and brings other spirits, seven [of them], more evil than itself, and they enter in, settle down, and dwell there; and the last state of that person is worse than the first.
Luke 11:26 (King James Version)
Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
A. The evil spirit brings seven worst spirits and they enter and dwell in an unbeliever's body.
"And it goes and brings other spirits, seven [of them], more evil than itself, and they enter in, settle down, and dwell there;"
We see the Pharisses, representing religious pride and hypocrisy, are being indwelled by these type of spirits.
Matthew 23:15 (Amplified Bible)
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you travel over sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes one [a proselyte], you make him doubly as much a child of hell (Gehenna) as you are.
We find what matter of spirits or type of spirits that we have on these:
2 Corinthians 12:20 (Amplified Bible)
For I am fearful that somehow or other I may come and find you not as I desire to find you, and that you may find me too not as you want to find me—that perhaps there may be factions (quarreling), jealousy, temper (wrath, intrigues, rivalry, divided loyalties), selfishness, whispering, gossip, arrogance (self-assertion), and disorder among you.
Avoid these two spirits: pride. We see it will wreck the whole neighbor with it's other seven worst spirits than it.
ILLUSTRATION: I've known a person only for a little while that he got pride and he of course knows it and is proud about it, telling stories that he's proud and he always win arguments, etc, now he has wreaked havoc to anyone he comes in contact with, there's jealousy, temper, selfishness, whispering, gossip, arrogance, and disorder among them.
How to dealt with pride?
1. Be subject to GOD
Put yourself in subjection to GOD.
James 4:7 (Amplified Bible)
So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.
2. Cast all pride to JESUS
You don't eat pride but cast it all out from yourself to GOD and make JESUS CHRIST your pride.
1 Peter 5:7 (Amplified Bible)
Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
3. Make JESUS CHRIST your pride
Philippians 3:3 (Amplified Bible)
For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances—
1 Thessalonians 2:19 (Amplified Bible)
