2. GOD will make our enemies His enemies

D. How to become GOD's enemies?

1. If you are a friend of this world, you are an enemy of GOD - no CHRISTians are worldly, if he/she is worldly then His CHRISTianity is a fake.

James 4:4 (Amplified Bible)

4:4 You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God.

2. When we were unbelievers.

Romans 5:10 (Amplified Bible)

5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more [certain], now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin’s dominion) through His [resurrection] life.

Colossians 1:21 (Amplified Bible)

1:21 And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities,

E. What do we do with our enemies?

1. Love our enemies. GOD does not say to treat our enemies like friends, but to love them still as enemies.

Matthew 5:43-44 (Amplified Bible)

5:43 You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy;

5:44 But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

2. Protect the properties of our enemies

Exodus 23:4 (Amplified Bible)

23:4 If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship and thank You very much for You have defeated all our enemies for us, placing them under our feet.
