Witnessed A Conversion Lately?
Luke 15:10
10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Let’s look at evangelism from heaven’s perspective. They rejoice over the salvation of souls, more than anyone’s healing, etc.
Have you ever seen anyone accept Christ? (Give description).
Don’t you think everybody ought to be saved?
Many receive the gospel in church and that’s great, but sometimes you just have to go get them where they are.
John 4:35-36
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months,(we think we have plenty of time) and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes,(with a vision for the lost, look through the eyes of a God who loves and died for them) and look on the fields;(every where you are) for they are white already to harvest.(no time to waste)
36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
Rom 13:11-12
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand:
2 Cor 6:2
behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Matt 10:7
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Acts 19:10
10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
James 5:20
20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
Ezek 3:17-19
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
1 Cor 15:34
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Prov 11:30
30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Wise-having wisdom or discernment for what is true, right, or lasting;
Possessed of common sense; prudent; sensible.
Ps 126:5-6
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Why should we try to reach the lost?
1. So they can have their sins forgiven as we have.
2. So they can enjoy all the benefits that’s offered to the Christian.
3. Miss Hell and make Heaven.
4. We shall be rewarded for our labors.
Think of what it’s going to be like when we get to heaven and meet those that we led to Jesus.
And then weep over those we failed to.
I want to be a soul winner. Don’t you?
I want the Lord, who loves me, to reach the down cast and sinners and save, del’, and bless them as He has me.
I want to spend eternity with murderers, prostitutes, liars, and thieves, drunkards and drug addicts who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, just like me, with Jesus, in a place called Heaven.
O I want to win some one to Jesus. Don’t you?
