Without A Vision, The People Perish

Summary: A look at the importance of how you see yourself. You are not what they say, but what God says !!!
Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
The power of a vision. What do you perceive yourself as, and more importantly, what do you see yourself becoming.
The bible tells us, as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. The way that you perceive your self is completely obvious to other people. People need look no further for a description of who you are, than the conversations that they have with you.
For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.
The way that you speak, determines the type of person that you are, and the type of person that you will become.
It does not matter what type of person that you used to be, it does not matter how bad of a sinner that you were, or what an ugly person you were, because the bible says, that God uses the foolish things of this world, to confound the wise.
Do you see yourself as a sickly person, who everytime you get over one illness, you are covered up with another?
Do you see yourself as someone who is broke, who everytime that you are about to get ahead, life throws you another big debt that you can’t pay off?
Does it seem like every time that you make it to the top of the mountain, you find yourself right back in the valley again?
Does it seem like everytime that you find joy, there comes the depression back even worse than it was in the beginning?
You may be inviting these things upon yourself !!! Rediculous, you may say, I would never do that.
Lets look into our speech. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
I don’t know how many spirit filled saints of God, that I have heard say things like, its always something. If its not one thing, then its another. I’ve heard people say, every time that I start to get well, something else comes upon me.
The bible tells us that as born again, fire baptized, overcoming children of the most high God, that whatsoever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatsoever we loose on earth, will be loosed in heaven.
The power of life and death are in your tongue. You have authority to be more than a conquerer, or always being conquered. You have the choice to be above and not beneath, or always beneath.
Jesus said that you may have whatsoever you say. If you like being sick busted and disgusted, then keep claiming it. If you like to have mountain after mountain in your life, then keep claiming them. But as Joshua said, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
The power of life and death are in your tongue.
Its time that the church of Jesus Christ begin to walk in the authority that God intended for us to walk in. Instead of being broken and distraught, how about we start to believe what God says about our situation.
Instead of confessing that you are always sick, start saying what the bible says-He was wounded for my transgressions, and bruised for my iniquities, and by his stripes, I am healed.
Rather than speak about what you can’t do, start confessing what God says about you, that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I am who God says I am. I can do what God says I can do, I can become what God says I can become.
When you speak in doubt and disbelief, you speak as a heathen. For the bible says, whatsoever is not of faith, is sin.
Many people have not had a revelation of who God says that they are. I understand that many do not know the power that is in their mouth, but I believe that God is challenging you to come to a higher level in him tonight. Its time for us to come to the knowledge of the truth in Christ Jesus.
Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
How do you see yourself? What kind of person do you see yourself as? If you do not see yourself coming out of your situation, then you never will. If you can’t see yourself being forgiven of your past, then you will live your life backwards.
Where there is no vision, my people perish. The Hebrew word for vision is revelation.
In other words, when you don’t realize who, And whose you are, you perish.
David was a man, whom God called a man after mine own heart. And he wrote in Psalm 139:14-16 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
