This sermon will explore the wisdom found in Proverbs about maintaining a strong marriage, applicable to both long-married couples and those planning to marry.
Good morning once again church! I’m thankful you decided to join us this week as we close out our series, “Word to the Wise”. I hope it has been helpful and practical for you as we have gained insight from Proverbs and other sections of Scripture. We are ending the series today by talking about an important part of our lives. Some of us in this room are married, some of us are not. Either way, as we talk about marriage today, I want to preface the sermon with this statement: these principles will help you gain wisdom in all relationships, not just within the context of a marriage.
Marriage can be a beautiful thing. The Bible talks about the Church (the believers in Christ) being the “bride of Christ”. Our own marriages are meant to be this kind of reflection. One of sacrifice, one of unconditional love, one of true union.
these principles will help you gain wisdom in all relationships, not just within the context of a marriage.
