Proverbs 8:18 (Amplified Bible)

8:18 Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness (uprightness in every area and relation, and right standing with God).

V. THESIS:

The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the One Man in my heart, mind and soul. I focus my whole being on the relationship I have with the LORD JESUS CHRIST. I focus myself on building my relationship with the LORD JESUS CHRIST thru His Words. CHRIST is both my Wisdom and Power from GOD. JESUS is in me, I have JESUS, I have everything.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

CHRIST is both the Wisdom and Power from GOD.

1 Corinthians 1:30 (Amplified Bible)

1:30 But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].

A. Riches and wisdom are with CHRIST

"Riches and honor are with me,"

Don't meditate on getting rich and getting honors, but meditate on JESUS CHRIST, and you'll have these both.

12:2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. On the contrary if you seek these things rather than focusing on the LORD JESUS CHRIST, you'll missed out the life, GOD has in store for you, and you'll entangle yourself with thorns in this world.

GOD will be the One to Work to store up blessings for us, while the wicked store wealth (with sorrow) for himself.
