Wisdom And Knowledge Series

1) LACK OF KNOWLEDGE IS DANGEROUS:

Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge (Wisdom).

- God's people must have wisdom and knowledge. It is His desire for us to be wise, a lack of wisdom will result in a chaotic lifestyle.

2) FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE:

Proverbs 1:7 - The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

- What you know is called Knowledge, but the application of the knowledge is called wisdom.

- Wisdom is to think before speaking.

- Wisdom is to do right thing at a right time!

- Wisdom is to be careful in all our deeds.

3) GOD IS THE SOURCE OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE:

James 1:5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

- God is the source of wisdom, let us seek Him for the wisdom we need.

4) WE MUST BE WISE - WISDOM IS EXPECTED:

Ephesians 5:15 - Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise..

- It is our responsibility to live as wise. The Word of God demands us to be wise, not unwise.

5) JESUS HAS BECOME WISDOM FOR US:

1 Corinthians 1:30 - It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

- Jesus was on the cross and He became wisdom for us because He knew that we are feeble and unwise. If you have Jesus within your heart and life, you are wise. But let that wisdom within be seen in words and deeds.

MAY THE LORD HELP US TO LIVE AS WISE, NOT AS UNWISE!!
