Mk 5:25-34 Jn 5:5-6 Wilt thou be made whole?
Like this man at the pool of Bethesda and like the woman in our text I know that there are some people here today that have issues.
(Issue means) to pass or flow out, as in our text this woman had a physical condition that created an issue of blood.
She was continually passing blood, she had an unnatural flow of blood
I emphasize this woman's condition because it represents many issues here today.
The blood is the life of the flesh: that means this woman was dying, her blood was flowing out of her
issuing out of her.
When we speak of an issue we are speaking about the situation or condition that is draining your life, More specifically killing you.
It may be an issue in your finances, It may be an issue in your health, It may be an issue in your mind, your emotions.
It may be an issue in your marriage.
Something is out of order, something is unnatural something is dying, something is killing you.
Your issue may be pornography, or drugs or alcohol, your issue maybe fornication or adultery.
Your issue maybe jealousy or anger or unforgiveness.
Your issue may be pride or criticism or rebellion or prejudice.
It doesn’t matter what name you put on it, Whatever your issue is: whatever your problem is, the Great Physician is in the house to heal you, deliver you and to set you free.
Somebody needs a healing, somebody needs deliverance, somebody needs a miracle, somebody needs the Holy Ghost.
It doesn't matter what the need is what the problem is or what the issue is the miracle worker is here.
Your miracle is in the house. Your healing, your deliverance, your restoration, your breakthrough, your baptism, is here right now.
The same Jesus who walked the shores of Galilee and open blind eyes and made the dumb to speak and the deaf to hear, who healed this woman with the issue of blood and who healed this man of at the pool of Bethesda of a 38 year condition is here right now.
Jesus is alive.
If Jesus is alive and he will do the same things he did before they crucified Him.
Jesus said: I am the resurrection and the life. because I live ye shall live also.
Jesus said: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.
1Jn 3:8 for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Jesus paid in full for your healing, your miracle, your deliverance.
Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with His stripes we are healed.
Matthew 8:16-17 Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.
Galatians 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us, for it is written cursed is everyone then hangeth on a tree, That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Jesus was made sin with our sin and sick with our sickness and our diseases.
It doesn't matter to God what your issue is, God is in the miracle business.
God is no respecter of persons.
That means your position or your situation or station in life doesn't matter to God.
Rich or poor high or low we are all the same in God's sight.
God is a God of miracles.
Miracles are real.
God still does miracles.
All through the Bible we see the miracle working power of God: The dividing of the Red Sea the collapse of the walls of Jericho, Daniel in the Lions Den, the three Hebrew boys walking through the fiery furnace, the multiplication of a widows small pot of oil,
Then the many miracles of Jesus:
He turned water into wine, walked on the water, multiplied the bread and the fishes, he made blind eyes open, cripples walk, restored missing body parts’ raised Lazarus from the dead.
Then in the book of Acts the lame man at the beautiful gate had never walked; healed under Peter and Johns ministry, the sick were healed as Peters shadow fell over them.
Under Paul's ministry prayer cloths and aprons were taken from his body and put on the sick and the sick were healed and demons came out of those who were possessed with them.
The point is God is a God of miracles.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever.
Miracles are for today
A miracle is an event or effect contrary to the established course and constitution of things. A deviation, and interruption of the known laws of nature. A supernatural event, or one transcending the ordinary laws by which the universe is governed.
