Summary: Wilderness is a place of lot of learnings, but it also is a place of lot of unlearning. There are lot of unlearning’s than learnings. Even the main learning in the wilderness is to unlearn everything and become empty and dependent on the Lord.

Wilderness is a place of lot of learnings, but it also is a place of lot of unlearning. There are lot of unlearning’s than learnings. Even the main learning in the wilderness is to unlearn everything and become empty and dependent on the Lord. The faster you unlearn everything, the quicker God can use you for His plans.

Unlearn everything which is not from God and not aligned to His will. Even the good things or Godly things as per the world must be unlearned if they are not from God or in accordance with His will. Unlearn our previous accomplishments, almost the entire past also if needed.

It’s a place where God strips all that we have learned and makes us empty vessels. He will strip all our past achievements and blessings, leaving us helpless always dependent on him. He will make us into nothing and empty vessels and fill us. It’s a place where we learn to unlearn everything and become empty and nothing. God makes us unlearn everything and once we become empty, he starts teaching us to be completely dependent upon him and fills us his new mercies.

Whatever we learned, God makes us unlearn it and brings us to zero and makes us have a fresh start. Once we become empty, God fills us with His overflowing mercies and grace. Our cups will overflow with the mercies of God. Wilderness is a place of overflowing mercies of God.

Are we letting go of our past doctrines or achievements in the wilderness and willing to become empty and start from zero (scratch) into a new walk or relationship with God? A new walk with God – a new prayer life, a new theology and new worship which is completely led by God.

Wilderness is a place where we develop a new walk with God, where we become completely dependent and obedient on God. We will develop a simple lifestyle where the pulpits or preaching does not fascinate us. We will just be fascinated by spending time with Jesus. It will just be spending time with Jesus that fascinates us. Nothing else will fascinate us apart from Jesus. We will try to find places or opportunities to spend time alone with him – always admiring, gazing and looking at him.

It will not be about doing great things for God but becoming a vessel like Jesus. We will involve in becoming a vessel like Jesus rather than doing great things for God. There will be shift from doing things for God to becoming a vessel like Jesus. The focus will change from doing things to becoming like Jesus. We will desire to spend more time with him – seeking, adoring, admiring him. We'll want to hang out with him more.

Is your wilderness with or without unlearning’s? Do you have any unlearning in your wilderness? Wilderness without unlearning can be a false wilderness.

Nowadays in your life are you unlearning so many things like doctrines and beginning to start from scratch or zero? If that is the case - then you are in God’s wilderness where God himself is teaching you. Even if you don't understand what's going on, keep going in that direction or wilderness. God’s plans will unveil so fast in this wilderness. God's purposes will become clear in this wilderness.
