Isaiah 43:4 (Amplified Bible)

43:4 Because you are precious in My sight and honored, and because I love you, I will give men in return for you and peoples in exchange for your life.

It's all because of GOD's Love for us, why it's done. People who love corruply or we say "lust" don't understand all these, that even a whole country of Egypt is made a "ransom" or an exchange for the Israelites even thought they don't even know GOD, GOD protected and saved them by ten plagues against the Egyptians, it's because of GOD's Love for the Israelites. But simply we can't understand GOD's Love because we don't have it yet.

1 John 4:10 (Amplified Bible)

4:10 In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.

2 John 1:6 (Amplified Bible)

1:6 And what this love consists in is this: that we live and walk in accordance with and guided by His commandments (His orders, ordinances, precepts, teaching). This is the commandment, as you have heard from the beginning, that you continue to walk in love [guided by it and following it].

1 John 5:3 (Amplified Bible)

5:3 For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous).

B. The transgressor a ransom for the upright

"and the transgressor for the upright"

Transgressor or "bagad" in Hebrew meaning:

1. a cover

2. act covertly

3. to pillage, deal deceitfully

4. offend, treacherous, unfaithful

Upright or "yashar" in Hebrew meaning:

1. straight

2. pleased well right

3. convenient, equity, just, meet

4. straight, righteous, upright

Proverbs 11:8 (Amplified Bible)

11:8 The [uncompromisingly] righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked gets into it instead.

Isaiah 43:3-4 (Amplified Bible)

43:3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt [to the Babylonians] for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba [a province of Ethiopia] in exchange [for your release].

43:4 Because you are precious in My sight and honored, and because I love you, I will give men in return for you and peoples in exchange for your life.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (Amplified Bible)

55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.

55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

1 Peter 3:18 (Amplified Bible)

3:18 For Christ [the Messiah Himself] died for sins once for all, the Righteous for the unrighteous (the Just for the unjust, the Innocent for the guilty), that He might bring us to God. In His human body He was put to death, but He was made alive in the spirit,

We are precious in GOD's sight and because He loved us. What great news to hear! I'm blessed because of that.

IX. CONCLUSION:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS because of Your Love for me, I am saved and redeemed from this world, and you have exchange the wicked in my place.
