Looking at creation in Genesis 1, God did not want us to live a world full of pain and sufferings, the First world He created was of Plenty, Health and Life. He even looked at what He created and said it was good. Genesis 1:31 God looked at everything he had made. And he saw that everything was very good.

But Why this kind of World with pain and Suffering?

1. Man’s sin, brought into the world the sufferings we see, Even for God’s own people, the world is a place of “groaning” -Romans 8:23 Not only the world, but we also have been waiting with pain inside us. We have the Spirit as the first part of God’s promise. So we are waiting for God to finish making us his own children. I mean we are waiting for our bodies to be made free.

(Genesis 3:14-19)The disobedience of Adam and Eve towards God brought a heavy curse upon the Earth and to all people. War between the Devil and Man began.

For the Devil is ruling this world through sin (This is his best strategy). Satan is breeding sin in every corner of this world as sin breeds pain and suffering unto men because the Truth is Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death, ........

The goal of the devil is for us to suffer(because the Law of God against sin must apply) and preach to ourselves his lies that God is not caring and Loving...Yet even in the increase of sin, God's Grace still abounds.

Romans 5:20-21 20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The question this world should really be asking is this: “Why should we expect anything except pain and death if we have rejected and rebelled against our Maker?”

To reject the Giver of all life should mean to reject life, to reject health, to reject peace , to reject unity, to reject power against the devil. Yet the God of great mercy keeps on letting people live on His earth. He gives them many blessings. Should this not mean that God even after us failing Him, He stills loves us?

Mathew 5:45b

....He makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust

He gives us time to learn and to turn to Him, before it is too late. Yet many are so thoughtless and so thankless that they use this time to continue sinning. They “show contempt for the riches of His kindness, tolerance and patience.” They fail to see that

“… God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance” (Romans 2:4).

ERV: God has been kind to you. He has been very patient, waiting for you to change. But you think nothing of his kindness. Maybe you don’t understand that God is kind to you so that you will decide to change your lives.

2. For the Generations to Learn Righteousness

The Bible says that the Judgements(punishment )of God in this earth brings Correction.

God does not need to make up special pain just for you and me because pain is already too much with us here in the world! But God can sometimes be forced to do it and use that pain to help us. When a doctor cuts into your body to remove a foreign material does that mean that the doctor is uncaring and unwise? He cuts because he cares and wants you to get well. The doctor believes that the cutting is far better than letting that disease spread in your body and cause death.

In the same way God like that doctor will sometimes be forced to cut into your life to rectify some mess, to remove some character, to deliver you from that sin, to humble your life and finally to build righteousness in you and to raise a better Generation from you.

Will this mean that God does not care by cutting into your life, by bringing that pain upon you? No He for sure care so much about you.

Isaiah 26:9b

When your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants [people] of the world learn righteousness.

In fact, we can say that the more God cuts into your life the more He cares. Hallelujah

1 Corinthians 10:6-11

6 We must learn from those things that happened to our ancestors. We must not want to do very bad things, like they did. 7 Do not worship idols, as some of them did. The Bible says: ‘The people sat down to eat and to drink. After that, they got up from their meal and they danced.’
