Ps 85:6

“Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?”

Union Grove we need to ask ourselves a question.

(1) Do we want to see a Revival in our Church?

(2) Do we want to see a Revival in our Community?

(3) Do we want to see a Revival in our Country?

Why do we need a Revival?

James 4:8 – “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

We have too many

Dirty Hands

Defiled Hearts

Double Minds

We need a Revival because we have too many Dirty Hands

Naaman the Leper

Is 1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

2 Cor 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Tim 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

We need a Revival because we have too many Defiled Hearts

Ps 24:4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

1 Tim 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.

1 Pet 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

2 Pet 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

We need a Revival because we have too many Double Minds

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

1 Cor 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
