“WHY DO WE CELEBRATE THE ORDINANCE OF THE LORD’S
SUPPER?”
1. Because we are to RECEIVE what was handed down to us by our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. (v. 23) Deuteronomy 4:5; Matthew 28:20; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Galatians 1:11-12; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-2; Exodus 4:15; 12:14; Genesis 18:19; 2 Chronicles 18:13; John 17:8; Acts 20:27
2. Because we are commanded by the LORD Jesus Christ to REMEMBER Him.
