Summary: A message about why God created you and I. Looking at the call on our lives.

Good Morning.

Stand with me and hold your Bible and repeat after me. This is my Bible.

I am what it says I am.

I can do what it says I can do.

I am going to learn how to be what it says I can be.

Today I will learn more of the word of God.

The indestructible, never ending, living word Of God.

I will never be the same.

I will never be the same.

In Jesus Name

Amen?

Before you sit down, say good morning to your brothers and sisters.

"Why Did God Create Us?"

Good morning, Church!

Let me ask you something. Have you ever stared at the stars on a clear night or felt the ocean breeze and asked, "Why am I here? Why did God create me?"

These are not new questions—they've been asked for generations.

The answer is simple yet profound: God created us out of love, for relationship, and with an eternal purpose.

Today, I want to take you on a journey to discover this truth.

My prayer is that you leave here not only understanding why God created you but also feeling deeply loved, seen, and called to live for Him.

1. God Created Us Out of Love

"God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them" (1 John 4:16).

God didn’t create us because He was lonely or incomplete. He created us because love, by its very nature, is self-

giving and desires to be shared.

Out of His infinite love, God decided to create you and me, to share in His glory and goodness.

Imagine a potter at work. He carefully selects the clay, envisions the design, and patiently shapes it into a masterpiece.

That’s how God created you. Psalm 139:14 says we are "fearfully and wonderfully made." God took His time crafting you, not just physically but also with a heart and soul capable of love and connection.

You are not a mistake. You are not defined by your past or your failures.

You are loved by a God who knows everything about you—the good, the bad, and the hidden—and still says, "You are worth it." He proved it on the cross.

2. God Created Us for Relationship

"And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day" (Genesis 3:8).

From the beginning, God’s desire was to walk with us. He created Adam and Eve to share in an intimate relationship with Him. But sin broke that connection, and humanity has been searching for fulfillment ever since.

The good news? Through Jesus, that relationship is fully restored.

There was a time in my life when I felt lost. I was going through the motions, busy but empty. Then one night in prayer, I sensed God saying, "I didn’t create you to just get through life. I created you to know Me." That moment was a turning point. God doesn’t just want us to believe in Him—He wants us to experience His presence every day.

God is still walking in the "garden" of your life, calling out to you by name. Whether you feel distant or close, He’s inviting you into a deeper relationship.

3. God Created Us with a Purpose

"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10).

God didn’t create you randomly. He uniquely designed you with gifts, talents, and passions that are meant to make a difference in this world.

There’s a story of a man named Tom who spent years in prison. He thought his life was over. But during his time there, he met Jesus. When he was released, he started mentoring young men at risk of making the same mistakes. Today, he runs a ministry that helps hundreds of people every year.

Tom once believed his life had no meaning, but when he surrendered to God, he discovered a purpose that transformed not only his life but countless others.

You might think, “What can God do with my life?”

The answer: More than you can imagine. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God can use you for His glory.

The Altar Call: Your Moment to Respond

As we come to a close, I want to ask you:

Are you living in the love God created you for?

Do you know Him as a close friend, not just as a distant deity?

Are you walking in the purpose He has for your life?

If you’re unsure about any of these, today is the day to respond. God is here, waiting for you with open arms.

If you’ve never given your life to Christ or feel like you’ve drifted, come forward. Let’s pray together. If you’re seeking clarity about your purpose, come to the altar and ask God to guide you. He promises to meet you where you are.
