Why Are There So Many Fruitless Lives

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY FRUITLESS LIVES

Romans 6: 20For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

21What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

Why are our fruit barring years behind us and not out front as we head home for glory.

It is a fact that not many of us are planting seed for the harvest. Lets look at what could be the problem here .

1. Lets measure our discipleship.

John 15: 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

We must stand with and abide in the Lord

With out him we can not bear fruit we can do nothing

Dead trees can no way grow fruit these are for fire wood

With Christ 3 things word life fruit

2.Fruit of the spirit

Galatians’5: 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Love God 1st family next neighbors all of them

Be able to suffer many things that may come our way

Be gentle in all dealings show good be good do good

Be strong in our faith at all times

Crucified the flesh of all un Godliness

2. Fruit of righteousness

Phil. 1: 9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

10That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

11Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Pray for more Love and knowledge

Ask God to approve your actions be sincere about Gods word and work

Be filled with his righteousness and Joy

Matt.13: 23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Increase

5.We should bear fruit

Romans 6: 21What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Get out the fruit that is rotten sour bused

Would you give someone and apple with a worm in it

You would give the best we have to our Lord

Rewards include everlasting life

6. Effects of chastening

Hebrews 12: 11Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

12Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

13And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

Don’t think you want pay

But it makes us better growers

Plant straight stay straight

You shall be healed
