Who do you call,

When your children or grandchildren need prayer.

Who do you call,

When you are struggling with emotional problems.

Who do you call,

When you need spiritual enlightenment.

Who do you call,

When friends or family need prayer for salvation.

That person or ministry that you call,

Is your “storehouse” The place you are fed spiritually.

Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse,

that there may be meat in mine house,…….

1 Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the week,

let every one of you lay by him in store,

as God hath prospered him,

that there be no gatherings when I come.

If You Do Not Trust Your Pastor with Your Money, Leave Your Church

Often I hear people say that they don't give to their church because they don't trust how the money is being spent, don't like the fact that the pastor drives such and such of a car, and the like. Yet they continue to go to the church. They just don't give to it. Here are my thoughts for these people:

If you don't trust your pastor with your money, you should leave the church immediately. Why? Because you're trusting him with something more important than your money -- your eternal soul. And if your pastor can't be trustworthy with something as simple as money, he certainly can't be trusted to guide you into a correct relationship with God.

So I say "get out of there!" Find a church that you think will use your money properly and will teach God's Word correctly. If you can't find any, then it's likely that the real issue isn't your lack of trust, but the fact that you're just stingy and are trying to keep the money for yourself.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

1 Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Malachi 3:7-11 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Ten Reasons Why I Should Tithe

According to Hebrews 11:6, God says without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. When you tithe to God, you are truly walking by faith and not by sight. Most of us normally don't have any money to spare. So when we tithe, we're putting God to the test. We're saying, "Yes, Lord, I believe you are the God of your Word, and I am giving by faith".

You have to use your faith to please God. As you step out in faith to return your tithe and offering, you are showing God that you believe him, and great shall be your reward eventually.

Be faithful day in and day out, week in and week out, month in and month out, year in and year out, and you will see the windows of heaven shower blessings on you and your family that are so great, that there will eventually be an overflowing in your life.
