Good morning, family of God. Today, we're diving into a beautiful passage from the book of Matthew that I believe will resonate with many of us. It's a passage that speaks to the heart of our faith - the power of persistent prayer, the courage of knocking, and the promise of an open door by our loving Father. The great theologian, John Stott said, "Prayer is not a convenient device for imposing our will upon God, or bending his will to ours, but the prescribed way of subordinating our will to his."
Let us read from Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Beautiful, isn't it? This is our focus today - The Invitation to Knock, The Persistence of Knocking, and The Promise of an Open Door.
