Summary: Have you ever imagined or desired your life to be exchanged with someone else life?

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him, I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. 21I do not ignore or nullify the [gracious gift of the] grace of God [His amazing, unmerited favor], for if righteousness comes through [observing] the Law, then Christ died needlessly. [His suffering and death would have had no purpose whatsoever.]” AMP

1. Jesus paid our ultimate penalty of sin on the cross for us.

Paul understood that the crucification of Jesus was to ensure that sin will have no more power or dominion on us. It is deep revelation to understand that we shared in his crucifixion. The sinful nature was hung on the cross.

2. The new life we received should not be about us anymore. Jesus now lives in us, meaning our desires, wills and thoughts and purposes should all reflect Christ. Paul boldly declares its no longer he who lives but Christ lives in him. He was a murderer and an arrogant leader but when he experienced conversion his old traits and habits died. He stopped serving his own selfish desires. The control and Lordship of his Life Changed. He started to bear fruits of the Holyspirit. How many of us can say today that, "I no longer live but Christ lives in me?"

3. Living by Faith.

That life is lived by faith.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. 2For by this [kind of] faith the I.e. those men and women who were faithful to God before the old covenant and those faithful to God after its establishment, those mentioned in this chapter.men of old gained [divine] approval.

3. Acknowledge Grace

It is not about works or the law it's by the grace of God.

Conclusion:

We were crucified with Christ so we no longer live but christ lives within us by faith and it by his grace.
