When Jesus Passed By

Introduction: Our greatest need is to see the Lord. Jesus is on His way to Jerusalem to be crucified. However, something happened on His way.

1. Jesus came to the Place

a. Come Quickly "make haste"

b. Come Down "repent"

c. Come Enjoy

C. A Conversion - vs. 6

1. He Came to Jesus - Isa 45:22

3. He Received Him with Rejoicing, Isa 12:2

D. A Change - vs. 8-9, Eze 36:26

1. The Greedy became a Giver!

2. The Dishonest began to pay Dividend

Conclusion: Christians, suppose Zacchaeus was affected by someone that told him of Jesus? Do others desire to know Jesus because of the difference that they can see in your life? Another thought, do you think that tree was special?

Friend, have you trusted the Master? What if this is the last time that you will ever be invited to trust Jesus Christ as your God and Savior? What if this is the last time He will pass by this way How long has it been since you were willing to climb to the heights to see the Master?
