Summary: THE FACE OF GOD TOWARDS YOU DETERMINES YOUR BRIGHTNESS AND JOY

WHEN GOD HIDES HIS FACE

MAIN TEXT: JOB 34:29

“When He giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? And when He hideth His face, who then can behold Him? Whether it be done against a nation or against a man only”.

PROVERBS 14:34

Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.

“When the life of a man pleases God, He makes his enemies to be at peace with him. When He gives man quietness according to the text above, nobody can make trouble. Are you in the will of God? Do you have a good relationship with God? How often do you fellowship with Him? Sin, disobedience, lawlessness and unrighteousness draw one away and it makes God to hide His face. His hand is not short, neither is His ear deaf, but our iniquities is what separates us from Him. This will make Him hide His face as He does not behold iniquity.

When God hides His face, there is a problem His glory will depart. His favour, healing, peace will be withdrawn. Righteousness exalts but sin brings about reproach. One is faced with reproaches and diverse kinds of temptation and trouble when God hides His face.

My prayer and your prayer today is, may God not hide His face from us in Jesus name.

When God hides His face, satan will present options as the spirit of God will depart, then wrong choices are made.

When God hides His face from a church, then emptiness will set in, flesh will overtake and the end will be disastrous.

When God hides his face from any nation, that nation suffers famine, outbreak of deadly diseases and corruption becomes the order of the day. God can even make the citizens begins to eat grass. For this not to happen to us, we should always be in constant check of our work with God so that we don’t drift away. When a man’s way pleases the lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him and when a man’s way displeases God, the reverse is the case for that man.

IT IS DISASTROUS FOR GOD TO HIDE FROM YOU
