When God asks the questions

Job 31:14 What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?

We ask many questions when we should try to answer God’s own for our own benefit.

1. What is your life?

Jam 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Are you really happy? Do your life has a meaning? Do you want to continue like that?

Mar 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

2. What will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Mar 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Luk 12:20-21 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

3. If a man dies, shall he live again?

Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Ecc 2:11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.

Not too many options here.

4. Where are you?

Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

He is looking for you.

5. Do you want to be made well?

Joh 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

Are you desperate to the point where you don’t want to change?

Jesus provides cure and not just sympathy.

6. Who do you say that I am?

Luk 9:20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

Joh 9:17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

7. How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?

Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Our answers today defines our destiny tomorrow.

Job 31:14 What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?
