WHAT TYPE OF HEART DO YOU HAVE?

Psalms 101: 5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

It is shocking as the kind of hearts people have.

It stuns a number of people.

The Lord is able to take care what ever you have.

(1) Is it a proud heart?

Is it a puffed up heart because of accomplishments.

Does pride keep you from being a blessing?

Do possessions make you act better than others?

(2) Is it a single heart?

Acts 2: 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Undivided In your attention.

Understanding in your affection.

Unfailing in your ability,

(3) Is your heart pure?

Psalms 24: 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Was contaminated by sin.

Now cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus.

Is there now a desire for holiness and purity.

(4) Do you have a soft heart?

Job 23: 16 For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:

Saved before I die.

Sin had not taken toil on me.

Jesus is now my Lord.

(5) Do you have a sorrowful heart?

Proverbs 14: 13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.

14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Heartache in peoples lives.

Hurt comes one way are another.

(6) Is your heart a stony one?

Ezekiel 11: 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

Hard hearted toward things of God

Hurtful toward people living for God.

Harsh toward people who need saved.

(7) A subtle heart.

Proverbs 7: 10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

Dodge the real issue of salvation.

Show a self-righteous attitude.

Deceived by Satan’s power.
