I. What to do before church:
A. Prepare your heart, 21a
B. Confess your sin before God (confession is agreeing with God you are a sinner)
C. Repent of your sins (repentance means to lay aside, walk away from)
II. What to do during church:
A. Open your heart, 21b, receive the Word of God with meekness
B. Examine your heart (save your souls)
III. What to do after church, 22
A. Do the word of God
B. Make God’s word apply to your life
IV. Don’t be deceived
