WHAT THINK YE OF JESUS CHRIST?
Matthew 22:41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
22:42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
The best way to find out the truth is to ask a trustworthy, competent, knowledgeable
Person if you want answer to your question. Lets ask these seven what they think.
(1) Ask the Heavenly father.
Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
My only begotten son ----- John3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
My well beloved son---- 2nd Peter 1:17 For he received from God the Father honour and
glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved
Son, in whom I am well pleased.
My well behaved son---John 5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works
which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that
the Father hath sent me.
5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither
heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
(2) Lets ask the Holy Spirit------Matthew3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up
straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the
Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
He is the highest of the high----Luke4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned
from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Luke4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a
fame of him through all the region round about.
4:15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he
went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
4:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had
opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to
the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
He is the Holiest of Holy
He is the humblest of Humble
(3) Lets look at the scriptures---- John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye
have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The scriptures tell us he was Christ
The scriptures tell us he was crucified
The scriptures tell us he conquered death, hell and the grave.
The scriptures tell us he is coming again.
(4) Lets ask the saved what they think--- 2nd Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also
suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed,
and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against
that day.
He is Lord of Lords
King of Kings
Long suffering toward the saint and sinner
He is Loved because he first loved us
(5) Lets ask John---1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
1:27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
1:28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
He is the Messiah
He is the master of heaven
He is the means of salvation to all who believe.
(6) Lets ask the Devil
Luke 4:31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.
4:32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
4:33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
4:34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
