Summary: what should you do next year

What should you do next year, make resolutions, review the past year, or just resign from doing anything? In Philippians 3: 13 & 14, the Apostle Paul tell's us three things you should do next year. What should you do next year, (first, second, third), you should:

1. Forget (forgive) the Past.

What should you do next year, forget the past of faults, failures, and misfortune,. Paul tells us in Philippians 3:13, "forgetting those things which are behind". Let the New Year be a time of new beginning in your life, 1 John 1:9 say"s, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." What should you do next year, you should forget the past.

2. Press Forward.

What should you do next year, you should press forward and let go of strongholds, hindrances, and bad habits. Paul tells in Philippians 313, "reaching forward to those things which are ahead,". It's time to let go of things that hold you back in Jesus name! For "we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" (Romans 8:37). What should you do next year, you should press forward and live in Christ everyday.

3. Focus On Christ.

What should you do next year, you should focus on Christ letting Him be Lord in your hear, home, and habits. Paul say"s in Philippians 3:14, "I press toward the goal". Remember what the Apostle Paul say"s in 2 Tim 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith". What should you do next year, you should focus on Christ.

Concl: I don't know all the thing's I'll do next year, but this one thing I'll do, Ill forget the past, press forward, and focus on Christ!
