What Should A Father Be?

As we celebrate Father's Day, what should a father be, (first, second, third), a father should be a:

1. Christian.

What should a father be, a father should be a christian, he should be letting Jesus Christ be Lord in his heart, home and habits. How can we let Christ be Lord, remember the words of Proverbs 3:5&6, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths." What should a father be, he should be a person who is letting Christ be Lord in his heart, home, and habits.

2. Person of Charity.

What should a father be, he should be a person of charity to his family, friends, and fellowman. The Apostle Paul say's in 1 Cor 13, "that without charity, "I am nothing." What should a father be, he should be a person of love.

3. Moral Compass.

What should a father be, he should be a moral compass in times of storms, sorrows, and in all situations. Remember the words of Joshua, who said in 24:15, "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord." What should a father be, he should be a moral compass in times of storms, sorrows, and situations.
