Summary: Often we hear folks talk about what’s wrong with the church...but that which is RIGHT with the church is what we need to share with the world.

What’s RIGHT With the Church!

"So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved." Acts 2:46-47.

Through the centuries Christians have often been told "what’s wrong with the church". Satan would like us to focus on our shortcomings but we would do well to reflect upon all that which is right with the church.

I. A CLEAR TITLE!

"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood." Acts 20:28.

The church is beholden to no man, government, or ecclesiastical authority for we have been "bought with a price" [I Corinthians 6:20].

II. A SURE FOUNDATION!

"…the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone." Ephesians 2:19b-20.

"For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." I Corinthians 3:11.

III. A MARVELOUS WORKMANSHIP!

"And I say unto thee, thou art Peter [Petros], and upon this rock [petra] I will build My church; and the gates of hell [hades] shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18.

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

Ephesians 2:10.

IV. A MATCHLESS COMPANY!

"To the church of God…to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints." I Corinthians 1:2.

"God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." I Corinthians 1:9.

V. AN ALL-INCLUSIVE INVITATION!

"And the Spirit and the bride say, ’Come!’ And let him who hears say, ’Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22:17.
