1. Living in the past. Vs 1
Harry Truman, “Men who live in the past remind me of a small wooden

reading, ‘I fly backwards, I don’t care where I’m going. I just want to
see where I’ve been.’”

things of old.

one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind,
and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that
by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised
before the world began;
Ps 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give
grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them
that walk uprightly. 12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the
man that trusteth in thee.
Ps 30: 4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at
the remembrance of his holiness. 5 For his anger endureth
but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may
endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now
commandeth all men every where to repent:
