What Kind Of Power Do We Have Access To

WHAT KIND OF POWER DO WE HAVE ACCESS TO

We sing that old hymn there’s power in the blood

Do we really understand what that old hymn says about our Lord?

2Tim.4: 17Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

(1) Its creating power

John 1: 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

(2) Its controlling power

Hebrews 1: 3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

(3) Forgiving power

Matthew 9: 6But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

(4) Its sustaining power

(5) He is the preserving power

(6) His is Reigning power

1st Peter 3: 22Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

(7) He is the soon coming power

Revelation 1: 7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Just remember where your power is and look up to heaven.
