Topic- What is the most important thing to do in this life?

In Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, we are told that “to everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die.” All of us who are alive today had a specific time, a specific month, a specific day, and a specific year when we were going to be born. And because you had a specific time, a specific month, specific day, and a specific year when you were going to be born, that should let us know that when you were born, you were not a mistake born into this world because it is God who determines when and where you were gong to be born into this life, and God makes no mistakes. Doctors may give a prediction about when you were going to be born, but it is God who is the one who determines when, where, and how you were going to be born. And just as a baby is born into world, that same baby is going to die one day because all of us have a specific time to be born, and a specific time to die. The scriptures tells us in Hebrews 9:27 that it is “appointed to all men once to die.” Just as we were born into this world at a specific time in life, we all have a specific time in life when we all going to die.

But yet there is a question that is being asked, “What is the most important thing to do in this life?

Now, some people will tell you that the most important thing to do in this life is to get a good education so you can get a good paying job, live in a decent house, drive a nice car, wear nice clothes, and have lots of money in the bank.

Some people will say that the most important thing that you should do in this life is to make a whole lot of friends, find a boyfriend, or a girlfriend, and then find a wife or a husband, get married and start a family.

Some people will say that the most important thing to do in this life is to become drug-free, to become alcohol free, to stay out of gangs, to say no to sex before marriage, and to be obedient to your parents.

Some people say that the most important thing that you should do in this life is to try find yourself, to try to find out what is your purpose is this life, and to find out what you are suppose to do in this life before you die.

Some people will say that the most important thing that we should do in this life is to go to church, read your bibles, pray, help those who are less fortunate, and be active in the church.

Now all of these suggestions are good because there is nothing wrong with getting a good education.

There is nothing wrong with getting married. There is nothing wrong with staying away from drugs, alcohol, staying out of gangs, saying no to sex before marriage, and honoring your parents.

There is nothing wrong with finding out what is your purpose for living in this life, and there is certainly nothing wrong about going to church, reading our bibles, praying, helping out those who are less fortunate, and being active in the church.

All these thing are good. But there is something that is more important than getting a good education. There is something more important than getting a good paying job. There is something more important than living in a descent home, driving a nice car, wearing fancy clothes, and having a big bank account. There is something more important than getting married and starting a family. There is something more important than staying drug-free, alcohol free, staying out of gangs, saying no to sex before marriage, and honoring your parents. Going to church, reading our bibles, and praying, helping the poor, and being active in the church is a good thing to do, but yet there is something even greater. In matter fact, if you do this one important thing that you should do in this life, going to church, reading your bibles, praying, helping the poor, and being active in the church will not be in vain. If you do this one important thing while you are alive, you will find your purpose in life, and your life will be fulfilled. So the question is, “What is the most important thing to do in this life?????”

The most important thing to do in this life is to give your life to Jesus Christ, for the scriptures says “what profit a man to gain the whole world and to lose his soul?” In other words, Why live this life and be successful in everything you that do and yet lose your soul? You see, your soul is important and only Jesus Christ can save your soul. Despite what people may say, Buddah can’t save your soul. Confuscious can’t save your soul. Mohmmad can’t save your soul. Shaq O’Neal , Kobe Bryant, nor Allen Iverson can save your soul. Denzel Washington can’t save your soul. Halle Berry can’t save your soul.. Busta Ryhmes, Puff Daddy, Lil Bow-Wow, nor Alicia Key can save your soul. Only Jesus Christ can save your soul because He is the Son of God who died for your sins. He is the one who rose from the dead with all power in his hands, and if we want our souls to be saved, we must trust in Jesus Christ.
